The Coastal Bend Business Innovation Center is TAMUCC's a business incubator geared towards applied business administration and entrepreneurship.

CBBIC has a very diverse group of talented students from six different countries - Colombia, Russia, Taiwan, Turkey, U.S., and Vietnam - with great academic records and experience. Our dedicated staff consists of MBA, BBA, BF, BA, MA, and BFA students. Some of them have work experience from companies such as Kimberly Clark, IBM, and Dell computers.

In CBBIC associates work as Graduate Research Assistants or Graduate Research Associates and get real-world experience working with startup companies. Our associates help our client companies run their business effectively by assisting them with identifying and solving key problems. CBBIC associates also work with TAMUCC professors to help determine which companies will be admitted into membership. After companies are admitted to membership our associates apply business techniques and procedures to help them develop their enterprise. Associates are averaging 1.5-job requests per day from more than 1o Industry Clusters. Some of the projects our associates assisted include, industry research, plastic injection molding processes and providers, frac water backflow treatments, market potential research for cleaning wastewater with hydraulic fracturing process in Eagle Ford Shale area, a feasibility study for an educational service provider, consulting services, helping business plan competition finalists with their presentation, recycling projects and graphic arts production from business cards to web design.

Our associates keep doing amazing things, some examples include;

• Creating synergy among our clients and TAMUCC to foster win-win situations. TAMUCC and 3e wereks were awarded $950000 for the purchase and deployment of wind turbines on all three campuses.
• One of our clients worth... cooperated with the University and created the only plasma lab in the Coastal Bend area.
