Mission Statement
Our mission is to foster sustained growth in the regional economy of the Coastal Bend in South Texas through our collaboration with community stakeholders in collecting, analyzing, and disseminating economic and business data and information. Sustained economic development is key to a high standard of living.
Our programs aim at facilitating a better understanding of our regional economy, particularly its comparative strengths and weaknesses, factors that drive our economy and factors will potentially impact our region. Knowledge about how our economy works is vital for government officials and community leaders to make policy decisions and for citizens and entrepreneurs to make decisions about the future.
